Corian Galley counters replacement on “Lush” a Oyster 885 launched in 2008. The original counters was in black glazed finish. They look worn and broken in some parts, due heavy charter use, on a dual season busy Yacht.
Owner choose a light colour, opposite to original, Nimbus Prima, a white veined patterns Corian surface. This colours, for theirs directional veined patterns, require to take in account visual orientation and joints along countertops planning and trasformation. Being a veined surface simulating real stone/marble, curves, pelmets, fronts, that are manufactured for separate and then glued together, due its veined aesthetitcs, require a precise and painstaking cut planning, to make fronts and curves continuous.
Over that, projects required remove the existing one and make the new fitting without touch or modifying Galley’s furniture.
Here the result. What do you think?
